Julia Dickson has worked in investment for 19 years; 9 years as a Fund Manager, managing in excess of £450 million; 5 years as a Stockbroker and 5 years as an Investment Training Manager for a leading life insurance company. As Training Manager, Julia was responsible for UK-wide training of the entire internal sales force and the external IFA community. In 2000, Julia founded Executive Skills, an organisation dedicated to business training and consultancy. Executive Skills offers a range of specialist and bespoke training solutions including investment, self-development and risk management.

Julia recently identified a major and previously unrecognised area of risk in the field of online identity - an area where leading financial institutions are already losing money through lack of awareness of the dangers. In response Julia has developed a highly interactive training package with subject matter experts which enables delegates to identify the issues and the industry best practices, empowers them to take responsibility for mitigating the organisation's exposure and delivers the practical solutions to make this possible. The ultimate aim of the course is for delegates to leave with the competence, confidence and courage to handle this discrete area of risk management, and to be able to brief the executive team about their own organisation's specific issues.
